Food Vendors

Event date: May 15, 2010
Location: The new Backyard is located at 13472 Bee Cave Parkway(off HWY 620). It is set on 38 acres of beautiful, undisturbed Texas Hill Country. It is located 1/4 mile northwest of the original Backyard location.
Attendance: We hope to reach capacity of 7,500 with our multiple attractions.

What we are looking for in our vendors:

Products: We wish to offer a quality mix of food.
*We strongly encourage menus that include vegetarian option/s, to feed diverse appetites.
(All products must be listed on your application and approved. No unauthorized items may be sold! No drug paraphernalia of any kind is allowed.)
Presentation: Unique, professional displays of booth & staff. We do encourage carnival/fairground types of attractions/displays.
You & your Staff: Friendly & helpful, who are attentive to our patrons, as well as follow festival/vending guidelines.
Vending experience: Experience is a plus, even if it‟s a small/local market. While we would love to be part of your first vending experience, & will not discriminate, we are not here to teach you how to vend. If this is your first time vending, please read the guidelines thoroughly, so you know what will be expected from you, & your operation.

Vending Fee Includes:

Space: 10’ x 10’  space for tent or mobile unit (provided by vendor)
If you require more space than this, you must notify us in advance and fee will be adjusted accordingly.
Passes: 4 festival passes, 2 car passes If you have additional employees, you will be able to purchase extra weekend or day passes from us at check in.
Electric: Provided to all vendors with booth fee: 1-220v/30amp for food. You must specify, & pay for, any additional power needs prior to the event.
Water: Source provided to food vendors. You must bring your own hoses and splitters.
Website: Your company name & contact info will be listed in the vendors section of the website.
* All vendors are responsible for knowing our vendor booth guidelines.
* Vendors are responsible for their own insurance coverage, (mandatory for food vendors), & will be required to sign a release of liability waiver, upon checking in. No vendor will be allowed to set up until waiver is signed.

2010 Vendor Booth Fees
Snack – Food:
Electrical Hookup: $500
Non-Electrical: $300
*Limited number of spaces for vendors that do not require electrical hook-ups. All vendors are required to provide all equipment necessary to their own set up. i.e. mobile catering unit, tents, tables, chairs, generator, etc. Non-electrical food vendors, must have set-up for water station.

Food Vendor Application

***Please note the following important information:

• Applications submitted without proper information will not be considered

• Detailed information, & photos of your product(s) & booth must be included. Pictures only of booth as a whole will not suffice, we must be able to see product clearly. Food vendor photos must be of portion size/s intended to be sold. Price points & sizes (in ounces/etc.) should be listed for each photo/product.

• All photos become property of Green Steam Circus. We suggest making color copies of multiple pictures rather than sending originals. Digital photos on CD are also accepted, yet NOT VIA EMAIL.

• You will only be allowed to sell what you apply to sell!

• All vendors are required to submit a copy of their Texas State Sales Tax permit prior to, as well as display it in their booth during hours of operation.

• Please indicate any special requirements you may have.

• Acceptance confirmations begin on 4/1/10, yet please note we do limit the amount of spaces we sell/vendors we accept, so be sure to apply early, to be considered.

** Funds must be available upon acceptance ~ No postdated checks!

__Photo copies of your product (or CD)

__Valid form of payment –credit card payment form, check or money order – for credit card payment please contact us and we will send you the credit card payment form

__Copy of your Tx. Sales & Use State Tax Permit
